A goal without a plan is just a wish!

    hbdi team

Creating a 2017 plan is about organising yourself, turning your dreams into reality, and helping you to improve your career and business prospects by learning new or refining existing skills and developing a progress & growth mindset.

By taking time to focus on yourself, you can work out what you “really” want from your life and career, set your personal and work-based goals, and make working toward them a part of your everyday routine. Develop new habits.

Discover and explore yourself by considering your key values, your needs, and your sense of meaning, your purpose.

Carefully think about your dreams by writing down everything you want to do and be, everywhere you want to go, and everything you want to have. Make it stick!

Make the choices that boost your life and career by focusing on the dreams and aspirations that mean most to you, and checking that achieving them will give you the outcome and results you want.

Create powerful and wellformed outcome goals by turning your dreams into inspiring visions of the future, and then turning these into motivating milestone goals.

Organise yourself for success by creating an action plan in different areas of your life. List your career and personal goals, and break them down into small, achievable tasks. Use this to record and manage everything you do, as you get closer to realising your dreams. Use a feedback loop to keep you on target.

More thinking skills for our kids in class?

    crtitical-thinking
Don’t you think it’s time to introduce more philosophical learning for our kids at school and in addition to focus on reading the texts of Plato, Aristotle and others , to also read stories, poems, or watch film clips that prompt discussions about philosophical issues.
The goal is to help children reason, formulate and ask questions, engage in constructive conversation, and develop arguments.
Socrates said that “true knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.”
To find time for additional teaching  for real education metamorphosis, “original content that once took place during class, lectures, reading, must be pushed to outside of class time”.

Your Year in Review in an Hour!

    precision

Dreams – we all have them! Things we’d love to do, places we’d like to go, people we want to meet, experiences we want to have.

Unfortunately, for many people, these dreams remain unfulfilled. Sometimes, this is because their circumstances make it impossible for them to live the life they want. More often, they simply don’t organize themselves to turn their dreams into reality. They then “wake up”to find that life has passed them by.

You’ve got dreams and big plans for this year? But, all your bad habits want to follow you into the new year. How do you trade your bad habits for big gains in 2017?

I say, “if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten”. “It is insanity to do the same things and expecting a different result”. In other words, if you really want to change the result you need to be looking back and learn to do something else.

Reflect, review then recharge your goals for 2017 with me. I’ve a proven structured mindset for reviewing your year and pulling out the most important details, what needs to be done, so you supercharge your plans and targets for 2017 with success.

I’ll teach you in just one hour how to maximise your review of 2016, and set your goals for 2017 over the Internet from the screen of your computer, tablet or mobile, at your desk.

Armed with understanding and newly developed skills, you will have the best possible chance of success. #NPx

Make change a top priority for 2017!

In developing leaders, we need to move away from problem solving toward purpose finding. We need to help people identify their strengths, and we need to help them hold a compelling picture of a better future.

If you are open and willing to learn, I can help you make change a top priority for the year 2017.

Although self-change is sometimes successful, very often a failure to change is due to a lack of guidance. Welcome or not change is unavoidable. Life itself is change. Each moment is different from every other.

Researchers found that these people tend to go through six stages: precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance, and termination. In making self-change, everyone has to go through these stages.

So, if you’re considering making some changes in the year2017, we can help you. We have been helping people change for the last 35 years!

We will guide you to succeed by following a great and perhaps most important, controllable and predictable course at various measurable stages. Contact us today and, find out how you can drive change.

Armed with understanding and newly developed skills, you will have the best possible chance of success. #NPx

Shifting our mindset toward a state of authentic leadership

Spend time in which you are other focused, — what’s important to others –, internally directed, — monitoring your behaviour –, purpose centered, — being there for values and meaning –, and externally open, — continually adapting what you are doing–! #NPx

Help Your Team Share Feedback Effectively!

Whether commenting on a colleague’s work or addressing the behaviour of a direct report, everyone on your team needs to provide constructive feedback. But delivering criticism can be uncomfortable and intimidating.

And it can be hard to share in a way that the recipient can understand, accept, and act on.

Give them step-by-step guidance, and practical tools to lead your team through the techniques of giving difficult feedback and how to get the message across.

Why Change? Planning our death, is planning our living.

The most challenging question I ask my self and have been asking for the last 35 years! How long do you want to live Nicos? I answered with faith and active intention, according to my DNA and my two grandparents 90 years or more. So I am left to live with 24 years or more!

How can I be filled with all the opportunities, challenges, joys and experiences still ahead?

    My time for reflection now!

So let’s go throw the following questions and each of us giving his/her own answers. Find place you feel comfortable, book an hour with yourself alone, put on some nice relaxing music and start writing the answers. This is only for you. 🙂

    1. What do I want to do with the life I have left to live?
    2. What do I want to experience?
    3. What do I want to witness?
    4. What do I want to become?
    5. What I want to learn?
    6. What do I want to be part of?
    7. What do I want to change, shape, leave better than I found it?
    8. In short, what do I want to do for the rest of my life?

Pick the day and let’s fill in the rest of our lives. If you think carefully about each of the barriers and determine that you can change, you will be well on your way to a more rewarding and fulfilling life.

Get free of the struggles for reaching the joyful & unlimited top!

    achiever11

If glory is a powerful incentive why inevitably dreams are dashed, hearts are broken, and most fall short of their expectations because there is little room at the top? What is the difference that allows some to fit into that narrow window to the top? What is the point? If ambition spells probable disappointment, why pursue excellence?

My answer to all these questions, I believe, lies in a well thought out approach that inspires resilience, the ability to make connections between diverse pursuits and day to day enjoyment of the process.

The vast majority of motivated people, young and old, make terrible mistakes in their approach to learning. They fall frustrated by the wayside while those on the road to success keep steady on their paths.

And you know what? It’s never to late to start.

Make the year 2017 a different year,  that better year.

Select your coach, mentor and personal trainer and start learning.

    Season Greetings
