What kind of a leader are you?

Someone once said, “People have two reasons for doing anything—a good reason and the real reason.” For you to be a good leader when dealing with people, the good reason must be the same as the real reason. Your motives matter.

If you are a leader—or want to become one—you need to ask yourself why. There is a big difference between people who want to lead because they are genuinely interested in others and desire to help them, and people who are in it to help only themselves. People who lead for selfish reasons seek…

Power: They love control and will continue to add value to themselves by reducing the value of others.

Position: Titles are their ego food. They continually make sure that others feel their authority and know their rights as a leader.

Money: They will use people and sell themselves for financial gain.

Prestige: Their looking good is more important to them than their being and doing good

Using ‘polarity thinking’ to achieve sustainable positive outcomes.

Like “yin” and “yang”, energy balance in Feng Shui, polarities are interdependent values that support each other.

As the health-care industry evolves at an ever-accelerating pace, health-care providers are faced with the challenge of transforming the way they work. They are treating more patients with fewer staff and resources. They must use standardized evidence-based practices while meeting the individual needs of the patient. They are expected to implement new technologies while maintaining the personal touch that is so important to patient care.

And they are striving to maintain stability in their organizations while embracing the change needed to move forward.

Their challenges involve reconciling “polarities” – two seemingly opposing values that can complement each other when applied in a balanced way.

And this is true in all industries and services market sector.

    Emotions tell us what matters!

In any transaction that matters whether it’s between lovers, between parent and child, between salesman and client, between doctor and patient, between suspect and interrogator, between adversaries at an election, emotion is what we’re looking for.

    Emotions tell us what matters.

    Transitional Mind?

Why do some people succeed at change while others fail? It’s the way they think! Transitional thinking is a way to create change by understanding, shaping, and reframing beliefs. What beliefs are stopping you right now?

You have a choice. You can create the world you want to live in, or live in a world created by others. If you are ready to start making changes … we can help!
