    Self-doubt?

Self-doubt can be crippling for many of us. It can make us feel powerless and weak, and it’s often worse just when we need to be strong and assertive. When the pressure is on, anxiety can reinforce our negative beliefs. We convince ourselves we won’t succeed, so we’re less likely to do so. If we can access our own personal power, we can find the strength and confidence to overcome these obstacles and begin to take control of our lives. #NPx.

How to Take the Pressure Off Your Team?

What do you do when the pressure to deliver results causes pain to the people you manage? You need to help your team to cope with a punishing workload. Otherwise, it will lead to stress, illness and people leaving. Think about it.

    Evaluate Arguments.

The art of evaluating arguments entails analyzing information objectively and accurately, questioning the quality of supporting evidence, and understanding how emotion influences the situation. Common barriers include confirmation bias, or allowing emotions-yours or others-to get in the way of objective evaluation. People may quickly come to a conclusion simply to avoid conflict. Being able to remain objective and sort through the validity of different positions helps people draw more accurate conclusions.

    Recognise Assumptions.

This is the ability to separate fact from opinion. It is deceptively easy to listen to a comment or presentation and assume the information presented is true even though no evidence was given to back it up. Noticing and questioning assumptions helps to reveal information gaps or unfounded logic. Taking it a step further, when we examine assumptions through the eyes of different people (e.g., the viewpoint of different stakeholders), the end result is a richer perspective on a topic.

    Draw Conclusions.

People who possess this skill are able to bring diverse information together to arrive at conclusions that logically follow from the available evidence, and they do not inappropriately generalize beyond the evidence. Furthermore, they will change their position when the evidence warrants doing so. They are often characterized as having “good judgment” because they typically arrive at a quality decision.

“Parents: How to have better conversations with your children as they grow and mature!”

A practical workshop to learn how to engage children in a dialogue with less defensiveness and less argument. The all new and updated workshop to teach parents how to engage in a conversation with their children beyond sadness and frustration, how to connect more and have a profound influence on the way they think.

In my professional life as a facilitator and coach people, clients, and my seminar attendees approach me looking for help for their children after finding what I teach applicable in their personal life.

I yearly dedicate a slight portion of my time to selected “clients” with challenging issues.  Either to help their children accelerate their learning and perform at exams or to improve communication with them.

And through a one on one meetings with parents we coach and inspire them to find creative ways to communicate with their increasingly uncommunicative kids.

Our primary job as parents is to take our children to the mountaintop, to become a resource of knowledge, guidance and inspiration to help them craft, shape and told their characters. To enrich the conversation, grow the level of two-way communication, improve active listening and emotional balance.

I run twice a year this new updated workshop which will help you and enable you as a parent put your child in touch with his heart and mind so that you will prepare him for mastering cognitive and social behaviour.

I hope and firmly believe that this workshop as a guide will steer you toward a wholly new and improved way of parenting. You will become a more effective parent and that in so doing you will raise children who will always reach for the highest plane.

And remember that words that emanate from the heart penetrate the heart!

Get in touch with me at nicos@nicospaschali.com to find out more and discuss the suitability of the workshop to you personally.

    Be well and happy

Turning Team Brainpower into Business Results

With business and market demands high, it’s no surprise companies are turning to teams to get results. The team advantage is based on an expectation that the whole will add up to more than the sum of its parts.

    But is that really happening?
