    Why are thinking preferences important?

Thinking preferences have an impact on virtually everything we do, including communication, how we like to learn, make decisions, solve problems, communicate and manage others.  Awareness of your thinking style preferences will give you a new perspective of yourself and the people you deal with everyday.

Understanding people’s thinking styles and how people process everyday business activities when under stress is invaluable.  Individuals and managers who can appreciate the differences in thinking style are able to develop increased flexibility and work more effectively.

Presenting information in a way that recognises, respects and is compatible with different preferences is crucial to meeting co-worker, customer and client needs and expectations.

    Leading people & producing results!

    Leading people and producing results!

When you recruit a new team member, what’s your priority? Is it to focus on tasks by explaining the first year’s objectives to him or her?

Or, do you spend time understanding his/her strengths and interests so you can give him/her tasks that he/she will enjoy?

Mindfulness (“The awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, with compassion, and open-hearted curiosity”) is an important practice in our hectic lives, and developing it offers many benefits for our health, well-being, relationships, and career.

Self-doubt can be crippling for many of us. It can make us feel powerless and weak, and it’s often worse just when we need to be strong and assertive. When the pressure is on, anxiety can reinforce our negative beliefs. We convince ourselves we won’t succeed, so we’re less likely to do so. If we can access our own personal power, we can find the strength and confidence to overcome these obstacles and begin to take control of our lives. #NPx

High performance and engagement practices. Specific practices can deliver enhanced employee and organisational outcomes. There is no agreement about precisely what practices are most important, but there is a consensus that the practices required must provide employees with three things: 1. The ability to work effectively. 2. The motivation to work effectively. 3. The opportunity to work effectively

Εmployees who are happy in their work are more likely to create loyal customers. Engaged employees tend to have a better understanding of how to meet customer needs and, as a result, customer loyalty tends to be better in organizations where the employees are engaged
